PlayAgit revisits topics it has already covered. This page describes how that works. It reflects what the publishing system actually does.
Two ways a topic is revisited
- Fixable drafts. When the quality gate held an article back as worth revising — rather than rejecting it — the topic is produced again. If the new version clears the gate, it is published.
- Published articles. When an article is already public, it is regenerated and updated in place. The existing article is replaced; a second post is not created for the same subject.
What is never revisited
An article the gate rejected for an integrity violation is not revisited. A rejection for cause is final.
A waiting period before updates
A published article becomes eligible for an in-place update only after a minimum number of days have passed, so a recently published article is not changed repeatedly.
Record
Whether an article was updated, and the reason, is recorded in the site’s internal ledger.
